IBPS PO Recruitment 2024:- The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has unveiled the eagerly anticipated recruitment process for Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2024. IBPS PO Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification 

Candidates applying for the exam must have a graduation degree from a recognized university or institute in any discipline such as B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Tech, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government.

Computer Literacy

Understanding of how computer systems work and being able to use them effectively.

Language Proficiency

Ability to speak and write fluently in the official language of a State or Union Territory.

Nationality 

Individuals who are either citizens of India, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, or persons of Indian origin (PIO).

IBPS PO Age Limit

Candidates applying for the exam must be at least 20 years old and not more than 30 years old. However, there is age relaxation for candidates belonging to different categories.

IBPS PO APPLICATION FEES

The fee structure for the exam varies according to the candidate’s category.

  • For SC/ST and PWD Candidates: ₹175/- (inclusive of GST)
  • For General and Other Category Candidates: ₹850/- (inclusive of GST)

Note:- The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid online using Net Banking, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or other internet sources. Once payment is made, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidates must pass all three tests with a minimum cut-off score set by IBPS. Those who meet the cut-off score and category requirements will be selected for the Online Main Examination.

An automated scoring mechanism can evaluate proficiency in English writing, including letter writing and essays, in an objective manner without any biases. This mechanism has been validated and can identify features related to the writing proficiency of test takers.

Interview:

The interview for a banking job is conducted face-to-face and typically lasts for 15-20 minutes. The maximum mark for the interview is 100, and the questions cover the candidate’s background, knowledge of the banking sector, current affairs, and general awareness.
